Debbie Brawley has been one of the top NW professionals for the past 30 years. To say she has horses in her blood is an understatement. Her parents established Brawley Farms when she was a child and for 55 years, have continued to guide and inspire students throughout the Northwest. Instructed by her mother Judy Brawley in the systematic traditional style, Debbie had fantastic success as a junior and amateur before turning professional. Debbie had the notable experience of participating at Hunterdon, George Morris’s renowned training facility in New Jersey. She has also had the privilege to be under the tutelage of Frank Madden and the late Bill Cooney.
Debbie leads Brawley Farms North located in Wilsonville, Oregon with the guiding principles that have garnered her students top honors in the Hunter, Equitation, and Jumper show rings. She is an essential part of the second generation of a three-generation legacy that includes Judy of Brawley Farms in Jefferson, Oregon; brother Bob of Brawley Farms in Texas: and nephew Tommy of Candor Sales in Florida. Debbie is known for her classic style, quality horsemanship, and unwavering attention to detail. She combines hard work with lighter moments to produce an atmosphere for horse and rider to learn. Easily and effortlessly Debbie conveys these virtues to her students and horses giving them the ability to have confident, fun, and successful show careers or simply riding for pleasure.
